WWE held their pre-WrestleMania Press Conference today from the Hard Rock Café in New York City that was broadcasted on the WWE Network. Josh Mathews opened the press conference and welcomed everyone and said that several will appear to talk to the people in attendance, as well as those watching on the WWE Network and said that he would like to introduce two of the participants in the Vickie Guerrero Invitational for the WWE Divas Championship, Brie Bella and Nikki Bella, The Bella Twins.

Josh asked if the match stipulation means that there will be a new WWE Divas Champion, to which Nikki responded that they both agree that there will be anew Divas Champion, but can’t agree on who the Champion will be, while Brie noted that they have been practicising hard for this. Josh then asked them whether they will focus on Summer Rae instead of AJ Lee due to the tension on Total Divas, to which Brie stated that she might get a shot in on Summer Rae if the opportunity presents itself. Josh then asked Brie if she thinks that Daniel Bryan can walk out of WrestleMania 30 as the WWE Champion, to which she noted that with what has happened, history has been made and that everyone wants to see Daniel Bryan walk out of WrestleMania 30 as the new WWE Champion. Josh then asked Nikki about John Cena’s match against Bray Wyatt, to which she noted that John has been motivated and training hard for his match and we will see something different from John this Sunday. Josh then asked her if the John Cena we see on WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown is the same John Cena behind the scenes, to which Nikki noted that John is the same person inside the ring and outside of it and that is why he is the face of the WWE as he is real and authentic. Josh then talked more about Daniel Bryan, to which Brie noted that Daniel is so humble and does not realize what is about to happen this Sunday and that it has been so organic and the people have connected with Daniel Bryan in a way that no one has been able to connect with in a long time, while Josh noted that you could feel the energy with Daniel Bryan on last night’s edition of RAW Backstage Pass.

Summer Rae came on stage and said the she didn’t hear what Brie Bella said earlier and said that Brie has forgiven, but has not forgotten. Josh then asked her if she thinks that she can be WWE Divas Champion to which she noted that everyone wants to be WWE Divas Champion and there will be some stiff competition and with it being first to pin, who knows what will happen. Josh then introduced Mark Henry and asked him what he is looking for during the week, to which he mentioned WrestleMania Axxess as he enjoys seeing his kids play around and interact with other kids. Josh then asked him about the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and how prestigious it is, to which Mark noted that Andre’s name alone makes it prestigious and he grew up as a fan of Andre The Giant.

Michael Cole came out on stage and took over as the Master of Ceremonies, discussing how WrestleMania 29 brought in $100 million for the New York/New Jersey community, while social events throughout the week benefitting the community and then introduced Stephanie McMahon who thanked everyone for coming out today and joining WWE to celebrate 30 years of WrestleMania and mentioned that it was her father’s idea to mix pop culture with the greatest event at Madison Square Garden and said that she was able to watch her friend Andere The Giant slam Big John Studd and she saw Hulk Hogan & Mr. T defeated Paul Orndorff & Roddy Piper and she got to see people with smiles on their faces in Madison Square Garden. Stephanie said that WrestleMania will be available on all cable and satellite platforms as well as the WWE Network and that this is the way to bridge the generational gap of the fans and that the WWE is dedicated to providing compelling entertainment as well as putting smiles on people’s faces, noting that there will be visits to hospitals, anti-bullying events and the WrestleMania Reading Challenge, while they will also be raising money for Drew Brees Foundation as well as the Boys & Girls Club. Stephanie said that she is happy that she’s able to give back to children and families with these events and other appearances and that the WWE Divas and WWE Superstars are the greatest entertainers on the planet and you will see what she means this Sunday at WrestleMania 30.

Michael Cole came back out on stage and introduced Hulk Hogan who said that it is so good to be here and when you think about WrestleMania, it started in New York and to be back here and to be back home in the WWE for WrestleMania 30, it is the cat’s meow to him and noted that the event is all about the spectacle, the drama and the glory and just like when he picked up Andre The Giant and slammed him at WrestleMania 3, it is also about the future and we will get to live this day forever. Hogan then said that he’s happy to be host of WrestleMania 30.

Triple H then came on stage and thanked everyone for coming today and joked that the crowd is a bit more subdued than usual and said what can he do if Hogan can’t get them riled up. HHH said that he wears a number of hats, but most of all, he’s a fan with a dream, a dream to be part of the WWE and noted that you often hear the company talk about “Then, Now and Forever” and then, he would watch wrestling in his pyjamas on his local television station, while now, the company has a reach of 650 million homes and they average 15 million viewers a week and have almost 300 million social media followers. HHH noted that WrestleMania has become a milestone that started as the dream of one man, however now it is the dream of every WWE superstar and holds the dreams of the fans, many who hope to be able to travel to take it all in and that the platform to greatness starts at their developmental facility, WWE NXT, a place where careers are molded. HHH said that you can watch WWE NXT on the WWE Network and for people like The Wyatts, The Shield and Big E who were in WWE NXT a few years ago, they are now able to live their dreams and will be appearing at WrestleMania. HHH then noted that a whole new crop of WWE NXT superstars will make their way to New Orleans to participate in WrestleMania week as part of Axxess and CVR events, while they will also observe WrestleMania 30. HHH said that the WrestleMania week events will be featured on the WWE Network including Axxess, WWE Hall of Fame and WrestleMania itself, while WrestleMania 30 will also be available on cable and satellite providers. HHH said that all pay-per-views and the material he mentioned above will be available on the WWE Network and noted that then, it was on regional television, now, it is a global phenomenon and that these moments will live forever. HHH said that he will put his talent hat on now, because no one exemplifies making it to the top to become the WWE Champion than Daniel Bryan and that dream is put out there every week with the yes movement, noting that the WWE Universe is a part of Daniel Bryan’s dream to headline WrestleMania 30, however, unfortunately, that dream intersects with his and that dream will end. HHH noted that Daniel Bryan had a dream then and now he will headline WrestleMania 30 by stepping into the ring with The Game and the only problem for Daniel Bryan is that this game is forever.

Daniel Bryan was then introduced and commented on how the press are not sure of what to do when he comes out and noted that Triple H talked about dreams and that these dreams are not what you think about when you sleep, but what you think about before you go to sleep and said that as a child, all he wished for was to be a professional wrestler, he wished to be the best, to headline WrestleMania and now that wish is here if he can beat Triple H on Sunday, but noted that it’s not an easy task because Triple H hates him as a business man. Bryan said that he doesn’t normally do suits, because when he’s in one he looks funny and noted that he’s not here because of Triple H or The Authority, he’s here because of the people and the yes movement and noted that the people won’t be denied and have more power than they think, stating that everyone has power. Bryan noted that 14,000 people in an arena have more power than 3 people in the back and said on Sunday, the 70,000+ fans in New Orleans will have more power than the people in the back and he will get to live out what he wished for as a kid. Bryan asked everyone if he can do it on Sunday and led them in to chant “YES”.

Batista came on stage and took notes that he was supposed to talk about, calling them garbage and notedthat the person should be fired unless their name is Stephanie McMahon. Batista said that he doesn’t like being at these events and commented on Daniel Bryan being in a suit. Batista said that he had some time between movies, so he figured that he would come back to the WWE and become the WWE Champion and then discussed the Bootista chants and skinny jeans remarks. Batista said that he didn’t want to leave the WWE when he did, but at the time he had some things he wanted to accomplish, noting that he loves the WWE and being part of WrestleMania 30 is more special than he can explain. Batista said that being in the main event is special and to become the WWE Champion is something he wanted, however he doesn’t like the fact it’s a aTriple Threat match, noting that today is the last time you will see him not as the WWE World Champion.

Randy Orton then came on stage and noted that Michael Cole forgot to introduce him as the face of the WWE, noting that he is the hand-picked person to represent the WWE and no man can stop him, not even if their names are Daniel Bryan, Batista and Triple H. Orton said that the triple threat stipulation provides a challenge at WrestleMania, but he’s handled challenges like this before. Randy said that not only will he defend his title, he will retain it. Batista, Daniel Bryan and Triple H then joined Randy on stage for a photo opportunity.

John Cena was introduced and thanked the members of the WWE Universe and the media for showing up today and said that he has been thinking of what to say that has not been said already and noted that he was with Hulk Hogan this morning and said that people’s faces light up wherever he goes. Cena said that WWE puts on a spectacle and gala so every person who puts their eyes on WrestleMania can say that they were there and said that WrestleMania 30 is so revolutionary because it gives the people more chances to say you were there and for WrestleMania 1, you had to be in Madison Square Garden or a movie theater and for WrestleMania 3 until last year’s event, you could watch it on pay-per-view at home, however this year, you can say that you were there while on the subway or in a cab and noted that while the event is 30 years old, it is a one of a kind event and said that it is poetic justice that at WrestleMania 30, the WWE honors and appreciates its past with WWE Hall of Famers like Hulk Hogan and that this card is one for the ages.

The Great Khali, Cameron, Naomi, Alberto del Rio, The Big Show, Eva Marie and Natalya joined all those who spoke earlier for a photo opportunity.
