Daniel Bryan’s injury on last night’s edition of WWE RAW was legitimate as was the call made to end the match due to his injuries, as original plans called for Bryan to defeat Randy Orton on last night’s show and build towards John Cena defending his WWE Championship against Bryan, which may still happen at some point.

A report from PWInsider.com notes that when Daniel Bryan returned to the back, he was irate about the match outcome and complained to Triple H that the match should not have been stopped, leading to the two arguing and a lot of people surprised, as Bryan is generally a soft spoken individual. The report notes that Bryan complained that he’s worked hurt in the past and knows his limits, however Triple H’s arguement was that they were protecting him and didn’t want anyone working hurt and that the two men eventually apologized to each other.

Bryan is currently backstage at tonight’s WWE SmackDown tapings in Dayton, Ohio, where he is scheduled to take on WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose.
