According to a report from CBC News in Canada, a judge ruled earlier this morning that Independent wrestler Devon “Hannibal” Nicholson should be entitled to $2.3 million in damages from Larry Shreeve, better known as WWE Hall of Famer Abdullah The Butcher.

The report notes that Nicholson sued Abdullah The Butcher in court, claiming that he contracted Hepatitis C during a match the two had in Ottawa in 2007, where Abdullah bladed Nicholson without his consent and that as a result, he lost the chance to join WWE’s developpmental roster.

Abdullah, who has publicly denied that he has Hepatitis C has 30 days to appeal the ruling. The report is available in full at this link.
