Trent Barreta defeated AR Fox. Post-match, Barreta said that since he’s pinned the EVOLVE Champion, he should be declared the #1 contender to the title. Fox headed to the back and returned with the title in hand and told Barreta that it was go time.

AR Fox (c) defeated Trent Barreta. Post-match, Barreta noted that it was now tied at 1-1 and that he doesn’t want to leave it that way and wants to find out who the better man is in their third match of the night.
