My congratulations to C.M. Punk for achieving his first year as WWE Heavyweight Champion. (As of today 367 days) It is an accomplishment to be proud of and represents a tremendous amount of hard work and professional wrestling skill above and beyond what most can imagine. C.M. Punk’s accomplishments encouraged me to bring out my days and dates calculator. I first became World Heavyweight Champion February 11, 1969 and remained so until May 24th 1973 (1564 days as World Heavyweight Champion). My best wishes to C.M. Punk that his string of consecutive days as WWE Champion Continue. The Challenge to C.M. Punk to be “the best there is” would be to remain WWE Champion until February 29th 2016 one day more than my record of 1564 consecutive days as World Champion
