WWE Champion CM Punk is featured in an interview with Slam! Wrestling discussing his recently released WWE DVD, the upcoming WWE ’13 videogame, facing Ryback at the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view and much more.

When asked if he had any regrets about his recent WWE DVD release, Punk noted that the only thing he wishes he could have had/that was missing from his DVD was a sit-down interview with Samoa Joe, which obviously couldn’t happen as Joe works for TNA Wrestling. Punk was then asked if he considers himself a trailblazer for independent wrestlers and stated that he doesn’t think that he can take sole credit for that statement, but if certain wrestlers get looked at, based on what he has done thus far in his own career, then that is awesome news and he’s proud of that.

The question then focused to CM Punk writing the intro for the Marvel Comics’ Avengers vs. X-Men comic and noted that it was cool and that comic books, pro wrestling and music have always been the things that he’s been into. Punk noted that he’s got to live out his pro wrestling dream and now gets to write for Marvel Comics albeit an intro, but hinted that he’s working on some other future projects and is a dream come true.

Punk was then asked about wrestling Ryback at the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view and what he has left to accomplish in his career and noted that most of Ryback’s matches have gone less than a few minutes, while he is a marathon runner and on Sunday, he’s going to get Ryback on his bike to see if he can survive. Punk then noted that the only thing that he has left to accomplish in his pro wrestling career is to main event a WrestleMania pay-per-view.
