For the first time in nearly three years, UK star Doug Williams returns to compete in a ROH ring! The former ROH Pure Champion was a staple in ROH’s inaugural year, pinning Bryan Danielson and establishing himself as a top ROH World Championship contender for much of 2002 through 2007.
Williams is among the top stars in the UK and gets a World Television Championship opportunity based on a victory almost three years ago! Williams pinned the current ROH World Television Champion Silas Young in the UK in 2015 – three years later, Williams gets an opportunity to compete for a championship the he never had the opportunity to compete for in Doncaster!

Should Silas Young enter Doncaster the Champion, he will be defending the Television Championship on his second continent in his third country in 16 days.
