Dragon Gate star K-Ness (real name Makoto Saito), who has been out of action since July, due to issues stemming from his neck, announced on his official Twitter account that he is planning to retire, with his final match scheduled for April 7th at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

K-Ness, who joined Dragon Gate back in 2004, revealed that he will not be able to compete until the retirement match takes place, but plans to attend all Dragon Gate events, as well as partake in autograph signings.

The statement reads, “Although I will not be able to compete, I would like to greet my fans all over Japan, so I plan to accompany them to all the shows until I retire. I’ve been touring a long time and this is my last tour. I’m really looking forward to it and I’m also looking forward to meeting all my fans, I’m looking forward to seeing all my fans in Japan at each venue, please come and meet K-Ness!”
