NEW ROH WORLD TV CHAMPION DRAGON LEE DEFENDS AGAINST ANDREW EVERETT IN ATLANTA

Dragon Lee put an exclamation point on his banner 2019 by beating Shane Taylor for the ROH World Television Championship, and he’ll make his first title defense against Andrew Everett at Saturday Night at Center Stage in Atlanta on Jan. 11.

At Final Battle on Dec. 13, Lee ended Taylor’s 218-day reign as TV champion, which was the seventh-longest reign in the history of the title. Six weeks earlier, Lee handed a rare pinfall loss to Jeff Cobb, who had held the TV title for 222 days in 2018-2019.

Another highlight for Lee this year occurred at G1 Supercard in April, when he won the IWGP Heavyweight Title at sold-out Madison Square Garden.

In addition to the big victories he has scored this year, it was revealed the day after Final Battle that Lee, his brother RUSH, and Kenny King (with Amy Rose) had formed a new faction named La Faccion Ingobernable.

Everett, who has competed all over the world and is one of the top stars on the independent scene, was a semifinalist in the 2014 Top Prospect Tournament. A former holder of the prestigious British Cruiserweight Championship, he last competed in ROH in 2018.

Will Lee’s first title defense be successful? Or will Everett pull off the upset? Join us live in Atlanta or streaming for HonorClub to find out!
