Former WWE Superstar Drew Galloway (Drew McIntyre) was a recent guest on Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling podcast and commented on his release from the company, his thoughts on 3MB and how that came about, plus much more.

On his WWE departure, Galloway noted that more than anything, when he got the call, he was kind of surprised, but felt like he was going to take it as an opportunity to better himself and come back one day as a new guy. Colt noted that he had talked to Bad News Barrett shortly after hearing about Drew’s release from the company and that Barrett confirmed that he had taken the news in stride.

On the 3MB gimmick, Galloway said that the group had come about through himself, Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater simply having a good time stating, “With 3MB, it was getting over in places like New York and obviously Europe it was huge. We took it as, ‘Okay, cool. In the end, we’re in WWE and they gave us an opportunity no matter how anyone feels about it, we’re going to give it everything we have and we’re going to have a laugh with it.’ And we had the best laugh we could. I think we were together for about a year and a half and people were either starting to either sympathize with us or get with us and they were like, ‘Oh these guys are funny. They’re just having a laugh. I like them.’ It was just kind of picking up. We were on everything.”
