Drew Gulak, who worked an unbelievable match against Daniel Bryan as part of the first round of the WWE Intercontinental Championship tournament, is no longer under contract to the company as of last night’s WWE SmackDown broadcast as his contract has expired.

WWE quietly moved Gulak to the alumni section of their website this afternoon, however we should note that Gulak HAS NOT been released and is simply out of contract at this time, meaning that unless both sides come to an agreement on a new contract in the coming days, he would be a free agent, while he would also have no 90-day non-compete clause, as the company would not be paying him going forward, making him available to immediately work for promotions including All Elite Wrestling, IMPACT Wrestling and others.
