Former WWE superstar turned actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed on his official Twitter account that himself and Oprah Winfrey have launched The People’s Fund of Maui to help residents affected by the recent wildfires, with 100% of the donations going to Lahaina residents.

The Rock and Oprah have donated $10 million to start the campaing, while anyone who is 18 or older who lives in the affected areas and was displaced by the wildfires in Lahaina and Kula can receive $1,200 per month to help assist them as they get back on their feet.
