WWE superstar Primo, real name Eddie Colon, responded to his recent WWE suspension in a recent interview with Spanish-language website PrimeraHora, noting that his WWE Wellness Policy failure was due to him not taking a test that the company requested of him and that he is fighting the suspension as he never refused to take the test, just that he was never given a location to go take it in Puerto Rico.
Colon stated that when the WWE called him to go to the test, he was ready to do it, but informed them that he was in Puerto Rico and willing to go to a laboratory that they chose to test me without any problem and discomfort and that he was not going to pay for a trip to the United States to simply undergo a test. Colon stated that after not hearing back from the WWE, he assumed that they were going to contact him with details on where he could go to take the test, however they never did and claimed that two months later, he received a letter stating that he was suspended because of his refusal to take the test, noting that this is not correct and that the WWE took it as he was out of the country, however he was available.
Colon stated that he did not want them to say that he failed to test positive, because to him that is totally false and incorrect and said that they usually do their doping test at events and someone appears to collect the urine of the wrestlers, employees and referees to do their evaluations and said that he was in Puerto Rico and needs to clarify that as his reputation is worth more than any check.
