– Dave “Fit” Finlay is back working with the WWE as a backstage producer, according to Bill Apter of 1Wrestling.com. It was initally reported that Finlay was in negotiations with the company back in April when he was spotted at the WWE Hotel prior to WrestleMania 28. He was released from the company in March 2011 following an incident which saw The Miz interrupt “The Star-Spangled Banner” while U.S. Military personnel were in attendance.

– Former WWE Diva Serena Deeb, who was part of the Straight Edge Society alongside CM Punk and Luke Gallows in 2010, was arrested on July 8th, in Tampa, Florida for operating a boat while intoxicated. Serena was released from her contract with the company in August 2010, after it was noted that she was not going along with her gimmick in public. She returned to the independent scene shortly after her WWE departure, however she has been out of action since October 2011 following a serious concussion and has since become a yoga instructor.

– In a new blog on his official website, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, who handles the commentating duties for the revamped WWE NXT, noted that the company have thought about possibly introducing an NXT Champion. “There is talk of having a tournament to crown a NXT Champion which, if and when it is held, could create some amazing opportunities for several young athletes looking to get noticed with the hopes of making it to a Raw or Smackdown WWE roster.” The blog is available in full at this link.

– There are many people feeling that with WWE RAW moving to 3 hours on July 23rd that it will add a lot more stress to not only the writing and creative staff, but to the wrestlers as well. A lot of people are hoping that the 3 hours is only temporary until the end of the year, as WWE Main Event will be debuting on Ion, with the company taping SmackDown and Superstars also in the one week. Many feel that WWE Main Event might start out strong, but if ratings dip, it will become like WWE Superstars after time.

– Chris Jericho’s third book is due for release in late 2013 according to his official Twitter account.

– With reports that the WWE are close to signing Sara del Rey, there are many in the company applauding that matter, feeling that there may be a change coming in how WWE view the women on their roster. Many also feel that Del Rey will help to train both men and women as well as wrestle on either RAW or SmackDown. Natalya recently came out on her Twitter account to congratulate Del Rey noting that the two of them had come a long way since their days working events in Japan.

– Many people feel that with Tyson Kidd in the SmackDown Brand/WWE World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank ladder match at the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view this Sunday, that he will be going all out at the event in an attempt to steal the show and get noticed. The general feeling amongst many is that they’re excited to see what he attempts to do on Sunday.

– WWE superstar Ted DiBiase will be giving away 2 tickets to WWE WrestleMania 29, which includes travel and spending money to fans who raise the most money for his DiBiase Foundation. – Bobby Lashley was in attendance as a fan at this week’s WWE RAW and SmackDown tapings on Monday in Denver, Colorado. The former ECW Champion recently announced his intention to return to the professional wrestling scene, both domestic and internationally. It should be interesting to note that there has been some interest in the WWE of having him return, however the two have yet to come to terms on any sort of agreement.

– Following recent reports that he has signed with the WWE, highly-rated independent superstar PAC addressed the reports on his Twitter, downplaying that he has signed with the WWE noting, “THANK YOU to everyone who has sent me well wishes, truly humbled and grateful…but PLEASE don’t believe EVERYTHING you read…”
