WWE RAW General Manager Mick Foley announced moments ago that WWE Universal Champion Finn Bálor will have to relinquish his title, due to an injury suffered at last night’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.

It was also announced on the RAW Pre-Show that Bálor could be out of action for up to six months.

Due to his injury, @StephMcMahon and I jointly accept @FinnBalor relinquishing of the @WWE Universal Championship. #Raw
