It is with deep sadness to report that former AWA World Tag Team Champion “Pretty Boy” Doug Somers (real name Douglas Somerson) passed away yesterday at the age of 65, however circumstances regarding his passing have not been made available as of writing.

Somers was trained by former NWA World Champion Harley Race and is best known for his work with the AWA, as well as a number of territories including Mid-Atlantic Wrestling, Championship Wrestling From Florida and more.
