Former GCW and CZW Champion “Bulldozer” Matt Tremont announced this evening that he plans to retire, with a farewell tour to begin as part of tomorrow night’s H20 Undiscovered event in Williamstown, New Jersey and conclude on October 30th.

Tremont, who is widely regarded as one of the top deathmatch wrestlers, broke into the business with the sole intent of joining the Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) roster after falling in love with the promotion as a fan. He began his training in 2007 under the tutelage of Amy Lee and started working for the promotion in 2011.

Tremont, throughout his career has worked for the aforementioned Combat Zone Wrestling and Game Changer Wrestling promotions, as well as for the likes of Synergy Pro Wrestling, New York Wrestling Connection, IWA Mid-South, ICW New York, ICW Milwaukee, Beyond Wrestling, Big Japan Pro Wrestling, FREEDOMS, On Point Wrestling, and several other promotions, as well as his own H20 Wrestling: Hardcore Hustle Organization promotion.

The current plan as of writing for Tremont’s farewell is for him to wrestle Rickey Shane Page at Tremont’s H20 Wrestling promotion on October 30th.
