It is with deep sadness to announce that word coming out of Puerto Rico this evening is that Timothy A. Smith, better known to professional wrestling fans as Rex King or Timothy Well from the 1990’s WWF tag team duo Well Dunn, his time in Puerto Rico with the World Wrestling Council and his time in World Championship Wrestling, passed away earlier today aged 48 with no details disclosed on his passing.

The news was published by the official Facebook page of the World Wrestling Council, why is run by Carlos Colon, father of Carlito and Primo Colon and uncle of Epico.

Well was part of the Glamour Boys team during his time in Puerto Rico with former TNA Wrestling referee Shane Sewell and former WWE superstar Sean “Val Venis” Morley and had success as a singles star in the country and was considered a very popular star during his time in Puerto Rico. Smith’s last wrestling match was in 2002 and retired the same night after suffering an injury while working in the country.
