Nine matches official for 2300 Arena

The full lineup of matches has been confirmed for both nights of Showdown in Philadelphia, taping this weekend in the legendary 2300 Arena. Massive bouts are set for the famous venue that you need to be there for live!

ROCKY ROMERO & FRED ROSSER VS. TEAM FILTHY (TOM LAWLOR & DANNY LIMELIGHT)
Fred Rosser will tag with Rocky Romero on Saturday to take on Danny Limelight and Filthy Tom Lawlor. Romero has long had issues with Danny ‘Slimelight’ since Limelight turned on Rocky to join Team Filthy months ago. With the Radioactive Papi teaming with the STRONG Openweight Champ tonight, Romero is more than happy to help Fred Rosser get his hands on Tom Lawlor, and just maybe create a chance to face the Filthy One one on one in the future with the gold on the line.

ALEX COUGHLIN, YUYA UEMURA & DAVID FINLAY VS. TEAM FILTHY (ROYCE ISAACS, JOREL NELSON & JR KRATOS)
Six man tag team action will see the LA Dojo’s Alex Coughlin and Yuya Uemura team with David Finlay to take on Team Filthy’s Royce Isaacs, Jorel Nelson and JR Kratos. Finlay will be taking a break from battling BULLET CLUB to take on Team Filthy, who are always eager to teach the LA Dojo some violent lessons.

BRODY KING, KARL FREDERICKS & THE DKC VS. STRAY DOG ARMY (BARRETT BROWN, MISTERIOSO & BATEMAN)
The Stray Dog Army of Barrett Brown, Bateman and Misterioso will be facing Brody King, Karl Fredericks and the DKC. STRONG’s newest faction is hungry for respect, and will fight to earn it, but will have to get violent to do so with Fredericks and the DKC joined by Big Bad Brody King.

KEVIN KNIGHT VS. HIKULEO
Kevin Knight takes on Hikuleo one on one. As Young Lions in Japan are tested night in and night out on the G1 tour, LA’s Young Lion Knight will have a particularly big and imposing task in front of him in Philadelphia.

CHRIS DICKINSON VS. MINORU SUZUKI
A dream singles match well over a year and a half in the making, the Dirty Daddy Chris Dickinson takes on Minoru Suzuki!

FRED YEHI VS. JAY WHITE
After he wrestled partner Wheeler Yuta in Long Beach at Fighting Spirit Unleashed, NEVER Openweight Champion Jay White takes on the Savageweight Fred Yehi. Could Yehi earn his way to a NEVER title bout down the line?

JUICE ROBINSON VS. EL PHANTASMO
Juice Robinson has exchanged in a long campaign against BULLET CLUB in IMPACT Wrestling and on STRONG for months. The latest chapter will see an openweight clash as El Phantasmo takes on the Flamboyant One.

ARIYA DAIVARI VS. ALEX ZAYNE
Ariya Daivari makes his NJPW STRONG debut as Alex Zayne makes his return to Saturday nights. All eyes will be on this singles encounter in Philly.

REN NARITA & CLARK CONNORS VS. THE UNITED EMPIRE (WILL OSPREAY & TJP)
The United Empire’s latest member TJP has a lot to answer for when he takes on former partners in the LA Dojo’s Ren Narita and Clark Connors!
