New Japan Pro Wrestling have announced the brackets for the upcoming New Japan Cup Tournament which will take place next month. The single-elimination tournament sees the winner receiving a shot at the championship of their choosing from the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the IWGP Intercontinental Championship or the NEVER Openweight Championship.

On March 11th, there will be four first round matches as Hiroshi Tanahashi faces off against EVIL, Tomoaki Honma takes on Tanga Roa, Michael Elgin faces Bad Luck Fale and Toru Yano takes on Tama Tonga. The following day, there will be another four first round matches as Katsuyori Shibata takes on Minoru Suzuki, Juice Robinson faces off against Yujiro Takahashi, Tomohiro Ishii takes on Kenny Omega and YOSHI-HASHI faces off against SANADA.

The quarter final matches in the tournament will take place across events on March 13th, March 14th, March 15th and March 17th, with the Semi Finals taking place on March 19th and the finals taking place on March 20th. All of the events will be available on the New Japan World streaming platform.
