WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco has been recruiting athletes who would have normally gotten into mixed-martial-arts with the idea that they can have a longer career in professional wrestling, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The report notes that Brisco is also going to be recruiting tough hockey players from Canada and around America shortly and is using the idea that they can make better money as a professional wrestler and is selling to potential MMA fighters that they could potentially follow the career path of Brock Lesnar by using their success in pro wrestling to make it in the MMA world.
