Following the news that Jeff Hardy was reportedly injured at Friday night’s TNA Wrestling live event in Worcester, Massachusetts which caused his match with Christopher Daniels to go to a quick finish, “The Charismatic Enigma” actually worked a slower paced match with lots of headlocks from the start. Hardy only hit a Twist of Fate to finish and barely hit any high-flying moves at all.

Immediately after Hardy got the pin over Daniels, the referee stuffed an ice pack or a heat pack into Hardy’s lower back area with Hardy staying in the ring to do $20 photos with the fans as had been promised. The fact that Hardy worked a slower paced match may be a clear indication that he was already dealing with his pain going in to the match and that those who booked the finish were aware of his injury.

We’ll have an update on Hardy as soon as it becomes available.
