TNA Wrestling have released X-Division star Mark Haskins from his contract with the company after deciding not to renew his deal.

Haskins worked TNA’s tour of Europe in January 2011 and made an appearance on the 2011 TNA Destination X pay-per-view where he lost to Doug Williams. The company announced on August 18th, 2011 that he had signed a one-year contract. Haskins last appearance for the company came during the February 2nd, 2012 tapings in London, England where he lost to Austin Aries. During that match, Haskins suffered a concussion and a neck injury, which had him out of action for several months.

Haskins is expected to return to the UK independent scene in the coming weeks. On a note from myself, I wouldn’t be surprised to see his name pop-up as a talent invited to WWE’s invitation-only tryout camp in England this November when the company tour the country.
