Following the appearance of Rey Mysterio on WWE television this week on the 3-hour Slammy Awards edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, as well as the 2-hour WWE Tribute to the Troops show, many professional wrestling fans have been wondering whether a return for the “Master of the 619” is closer to a return than what we are lead to believe, however that isn’t the case.

Although he is clearly able to walk, Mysterio is said to still be in his rehabilitation process and won’t be making a quick in-ring return as he is looking to come back as healthy as possible and not having to worry year after year about being sidelined with his constant knee problems. Mysterio was telling those backstage at this past Monday’s edition of WWE RAW that he would unfortunately be missing the WWE WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view and the big payday that is involved with the event.

Someone who won’t likely be missing out on the WrestleMania payday is Sin Cara, who is now scheduled to return in March and has been telling those around him that even if he isn’t 100%, he doesn’t want to miss out on performing at the biggest pay-per-view event of the year.
