In an update on Paul Heyman’s WWE status, who returned to the company on last night’s WWE RAW for the first time since the post-RAW edition of WWE Summerslam, Heyman has signed a new deal with the company after his original one expired, this according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report notes that one of the reasons Heyman decided upon returning to the company was to work alongside CM Punk, both of whom had been pitching to do something together. The expectation is that Heyman will be appearing on WWE television on a semi-regular basis going forward and that this will also see him being involved in the continuation of the Triple H and Brock Lesnar feud.
