Tripe H is the latest guest as part of Michael Cole’s weekly sitdown interview.
In the interview, Michael Cole said that he got goosebumps when The Rock returned on WWE RAW, to which Triple H called one of the most electrifying moments in the history of WWE RAW and talked about how it is remarkable to keep a secret these days and thinks that it is awesome that for as big as The Rock has become in Hollywood, you can see that there is nothing in the world like getting into the ring for him. Triple H said that it is a testament to Rusev and Lana right now that The Rock found the time to come back and address the two and that The Rock doesn’t make that time for just anybody.
When asked about John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose at WWE Hell in a Cell, Triple H said that you have to give the fans what they want and that if Cena and Ambrose want to fight over who gets Seth Rollins inside the Hell in a Cell, then so be it.
Cole then noted that this Friday will be SmackDown’s 15th Anniversary, to which Triple H called unbelievable and joked that maybe his dieting is why he looks so much better than Cole does 15 years later and talked about how there has been more WWE SmackDown episodes in Philadelphia than anywhere so it felt special to come back. Triple H noted that The Rock will make an appearance on SmackDown in a backstage segment and said that they had a conversation after WWE RAW and cameras were there to pick it up, so it will air on SmackDown. Michael Cole then talked about a possible wrinkle in the John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose match that will be revealed on SmackDown, to which Triple H stated that they’re making the match better and said that SmackDown is must-see television.
