New Japan Pro Wrestling have announced that Hiroshi Tanahashi will put his NJPW WORLD Television Championship on the line against Matt Riddle as part of their NJPW The New Beginning In Sapporo Day 1 event on Friday, February 23rd.

The event will take place at the Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center Hokkai Kitayell in Hokkaido, Japan.
