IMPACT Wrestling have officially announced that the main event of their upcoming Redemption pay-per-view on April 22nd at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida will feature Austin Aries defending his IMPACT World Title against Alberto El Patron.

IMPACT Wrestling are playing up the storyline idea that Austin Aries is defending his title against someone who never officially lost the title, as Alberto El Patron was stripped of the title during a previous suspension.
