The ratings for IMPACT Wrestling’s weekly shows on AXS TV have been released for the first time in 2020.

According to a report from Wade Keller of PWTorch, the July 21st edition of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV drew 163,000 viewers, up from the July 14th edition which drew 156,000 viewers and the July 7th edition which drew 135,000 viewers.

The report notes that the average since March 24th has been 145,000 viewers and that the buzz generated from the Slammiversary pay-per-view which featured returns and debuts helped add some viewers.

The company drew more viewers back on May 12th, while in 9 of the first 10 weeks of the year, the company drew more than 163,000 viewers, however the empty-arena setting correlated to drops in viewership in the single digit percentages, compared to projections based on seasonal ebb and flow in viewership annually.

The report adds that IMPACT has averaged 147,000 viewers since April, while before the announcement of the Coronavirus pandemic, it had averaged 174,000 viewers in January, February and March.
