ICW No Holds Barred revealed this afternoon that independent wrestling star Markus Crane (real name Mark Pobanz), best known his work with Game Changer Wrestling, ICW No Holds Barred, No Peace Underground, Unsanctioned Pro Wrestling and several other promotions has passed away at the age of 33.

Crane, who underwent surgery on his skull in December 2019, was planning his in-ring return after making a surprise in-ring appearance for Game Changer Wrestling during WrestleMania week this year at the Cuban Club in Ybor City, Florida, where he faced off against Kit Osbourne in a brief match.

Crane also made a surprise appearance at the H20 Wrestling & FMW-E “Destiny: Onita vs. Tremont” event on October 31st at the Trenton Thunder Ballpark in Trenton, New Jersey, accompanying Team H20’s Devon Moore, Chuck Payne, Ron Mathis, Lucky 13, Jimmy Lyon and SHLAK for their match against 44.OH!’s Rickey Shane Page, Gregory Iron, Eric Ryan, Eddy Only, Atticus Cogar and Bobby Beverly.
