WWE.com reported earlier this week that CM Punk was hurt at this past Monday’s RAW after Ryback slammed him through a table. WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann noted that Punk suffered multiple bruises and scrapes on his back.

The website posted an update, with Amann noting that Punk is feeling a lot better and that his “injuries do not seem to be as severe as we initially anticipated, so we did not have to do any additional studies or imaging.” Amann added that Punk’s status is “day-to-day” and that they will continue to monitor him.

As we reported earlier, Punk was telling people that he was fine after RAW. He is currently advertised to appear at this weekend’s WWE live events.
