In an update on former UFC Heavyweight Champion and current WWE superstar Brock Lesnar announcing his sudden retirement from UFC competition, ESPN’s Marc Raimondi noted that he asked UFC executive Jeff Novitzky if Lesnar had formally notified the company of his retirement and removed himself from the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) drug-testing pool.
Raimondi noted that Novitzky said that he could not comment and that it is the company’s policy to only comment on those matters if a fighter has publicly said something first, while Lesnar was tested by USADA as recently as a few weeks ago.
