The Associated Press has picked up on the passing of AAA superstar Perro Aguayo Jr, noting that an investigation into possible manslaughter in Aguayo’s death has been opened.

Meanwhile, ESPN Deportes in Mexico are reporting that the CRASH promotion that Aguayo was wrestling for when he passed away in the ring, teaming with TNA Wrestling superstar Manik against the team of Rey Mysterio and TNA Wrestling superstar Tigre Uno, will cover the costs of his funeral, but noted that his father and lucha libre legend Perro Aguayo has not yet been informed about his son’s passing, as he himself is not in great health currently and there is a concern over how he will take the news when informed.
