New Japan Pro Wrestling have announced that The Great-O-Khan and a partner of his choosing will face off against The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) for the vacant IWGP Tag Team Championships as part of the Wrestle Dynasty event on January 5th, 2025.

The Great-O-Khan and HENARE were originally scheduled to defend the titles against The Young Bucks as part of the event, however as a result of HENARE suffering a knee injury, New Japan Pro Wrestling noted that the titles have been declared vacant, with new Champions to be crowned at Wrestle Dynasty.
