Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger was a recent guest on Chael Sonnen’s podcast and noted that he has requested and received his release from the WWE, with Swagger noting that he requested to be released as he was not receiving opportunities with the company.

Swagger has been signed to the company since signing a developmental deal in 2006.
