WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Entertainment’s lawsuit against Anthem Wrestling, the parent company of IMPACT Wrestling, was officially dismissed on January 14th, with the dismissal noting that it can be re-opened if their agreed upon settlement should fall through, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.

The report notes that the two sides informed the court on January 8th that they had finally agreed to a settlement after well over two years of legal battles and that, according to their sources within the WWE, while Jarrett has declined to comment on the lawsuit settlement, he has been in a great mood over the last couple of days, leading to speculation among people that he received a monetary settlement.

As of writing, it is unknown as to where the ownership of the GFW footage landed in the settlement, however if the footage pops up on IMPACT Plus or via DVD’s, it’s pretty much clear that IMPACT ended up with the footage as part of the settlement.
