In an update on the ongoing issues between Jeff Jarrett/Global Force Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling, there was an attempt to resolve the lawsuit that Jarrett and Global Force Entertainment (the parent company of Global Force Wrestling) brought against Anthem Wrestling (the parent company of IMPACT Wrestling) on May 15th, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report notes that after being ordered by the Tennessee Middle District Court to enter mediation last month, both parties attempted to negotiate a settlement agreement that would have prevented them going to trial, but were unable to do so. Jeff Jarrett is said to have attended the mediation in person, while Anthem Wrestling President Ed Nordholm appeared via teleconference, as he is in Canada and is currently unable to enter the United States.

The report adds that currently, the trial to resolve the lawsuit is set to begin on Tuesday, June 30th at 9am local time with the court noting that the trial date is realistic, notwithstanding COVID-19 and that the parties should anticipate going forward on that date, with the trial expected to last between 5-7 days unless the two sides come to a settlement before the trial. Both sides must submit their exhibits and witnesses by June 12th.
