Joe Doering, a former two-time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion in All Japan Pro Wrestling, made his IMPACT Wrestling debut during tonight’s Turning Point event, aligning with Eric Young in a post-match beatdown on Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake, after Jake challenged Rohit Raju for the IMPACT X-Division Championship.
Doering, during his time with AJPW is also a four-time AJPW World Tag Team Champion with Keiji Mutoh, SANADA, Suwama and Kono and has won the AJPW World’s Strongest Tag Determination League on three occasions, in 2007 with Keiji Mutoh, in 2013 with Suwama and in 2018 with Dylan James.
