In an update on Jon Moxley’s status for the AEW Fyter Fest two-week event, where he is scheduled to be in action on Night 2 on July 8th, a report from The Wrestling Observer notes that Moxley was told by All Elite Wrestling’s doctor to isolate himself and that if he does not test positive for COVID-19 or show symptoms, then he should be okay for July 2nd, when the company tapes the second night of the show.

The report notes that Moxley made the call himself not to leave and go to a hotel, for the fear of leaving his wife (Renee Young) alone in the event that she got worse and also the fear of that if he had COVID-19, then he would be infecting people at a hotel.

Moxley and Young are said to be isolating themselves in different parts of their house, with Moxley taking multiple tests this week and that if everything plays out, he should be good for the above date, however if he ends up testing positive, his match against Brian Cage may have to be delayed, with one idea suggested to do an Empty Arena match early in the day on July 8th and slot it into the show as scheduled that night.
