JONATHAN GRESHAM TANGLES WITH JOSH WOODS IN ATLANTA

The team of 2 Guys 1 Tag (Silas Young and Josh Woods) have earned a future shot at ROH World Tag Team Champions Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham, but before that match takes place, Woods and Gresham will meet in a singles match at Saturday Night at Center Stage in Atlanta on Jan. 11.

The bout pits the technical wrestling wizardry of Gresham against the MMA and amateur wrestling background of Woods. 2019 has been a big year for both competitors.

Woods, the 2017 Top Prospect Tournament winner, has been at the top of his game ever since Young began mentoring him six months ago. The odd couple is undefeated as a tag team, and Woods has scored pinfalls on former ROH World Champions Dalton Castle and Jay Briscoe in tag matches, the latter occurring in a No. 1 Contender’s Match at Final Battle Fallout on Dec. 15.

Two days earlier at the Final Battle pay-per-view, Gresham and Lethal defeated 11-time ROH World Tag Team Champions Jay and Mark Briscoe to win the title. It’s the first tag title for Lethal, the most decorated singles competitor in ROH history, and the first gold of any type for the talanted Gresham.

Woods and Gresham have been in the ring together on a few occasions over the years. While Gresham defeated Woods in both of their one-on-one encounters, Woods and Young beat Gresham and Lethal in tag action in September.

Who will prevail when Woods and Gresham square off in Atlanta? Join us live in person or streaming live for HonorClub to find out!
