Legendary Japanese wrestler Jushin Thunder Liger took to his official Twitter account today to comment on retiring from in-ring competition at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 14 event.
“Retired at Tokyo Dome today! After all, the champion Hiromu was strong. I can retire without any regrets, I am grateful for messages from various people such as Choshu and Nakamura. There will be a retirement ceremony tomorrow, I want to go like a liger to the end.”
New Japan Pro Wrestling will feature a Jushin Thunder Liger retirement ceremony as part of their New Year Dash event tomorrow.
