NWA Coastal issued the following:

Kacee Carlisle to make first NWA world title defense for NWA Coastal on November 17

Newly crowned NWA World Women’s Champion Kacee Carlisle, who defeated the legendary Tasha Simone on October 20th in Lebanon, TN to win the title, has been signed by NWA Coastal to make her first World Title defense at “Battle for Bayville!” on Saturday November 17th at the Bayville (NJ) Elks Lodge.

Commissioner Tommy Cairo wasted no time, as he placed a call to secure the services of the new champion shortly after she won the title in a controversial match against Tasha Simone, the long standing NWA Womens Champion. Once Kacee was booked, he was immediately on the phone with several other NWA promoters to find out who would give the champ her toughest test, and after some deliberation with his partners, it was decided that the best opponent would be NWA Ring Warriors Battling Bombshell Ladies Champion La Rosa Negra.

La Rosa Negra has been a professional wrestler for 9 years training and performing in Puerto Rico and The Caribbean under the watchful eye of some of the industry veterans to include Carlos Colon. La Rosa Negra a native of San Juan Puerto Rico is now based in Ft Lauderdale Florida. She is fitness enthusiast and trained in boxing dance and MMA. The combination of this training is evident in her exciting style. La Rosa Negra was successful in achieving her dreams of being the WWC World Ladies Champion, capturing that title for the first time on 6-24 2006. La Rosa Negra would go forward and hold that title 3 times relinquishing it in 2011.

La Rosa Negra has a hard hitting fast, high flying style that earned her the nick name from the fans as “The Abusador” (The Abuser). She has set her eyes on continuing her career and training in The United States and currently resides in Ft Lauderdale Florida where on July 14th 2012 she once again captured championship gold as the 1st ever NWA Ring Warriors “Battling Bombshell” Champion defeating Sienna Duvall and Su Yung in a fatal 3 way.

Kacee however, is no slouch. She broke into the wrestling business in 1998 as a manager affiliated with wrestler Shorty Smalls. Due to commitments away from the ring her appearances were few and far between until 2003, when she resurfaced at an HoPWF show in Hagerstown, MD. She continued to manage on a regular basis for the next two years until July 30, 2005 when, on a joint WXW/VCW show held in Olney, VA, Kacee wrestled in her first match against Krissy Vaine. Since then Kacee has worked hard to earn the respect of both her peers and the fans, becoming known as one of the most traveled, hardest-hitting and toughest women in the ring today. Kacee’s signature style of old school roughness combined with a touch of femininity makes her easily recognizable to fans and opponents alike. To date, Kacee has appeared in 14 different states and has held numerous championship titles along the way. Over the past several years Kacee has been voted the Wrestler of the Year for several promotions, wrestling news websites and fan polls. In 2011 she was ranked #46 in PWI Magazine’s Top 50 Females in professional wrestling, and is ranked in PWI’s online ratings and monthly magazine ratings on a regular basis.

This is the second official match announced by Cairo for November 17th. The first is also a championship match that will pit challenger Biggie Biggs against NWA Coastal Heavyweight Champion Bad Boy Danny Pagan in a No Disqualification, Falls Count Anywhere match, and another stipulation was added that will ban Pagan’s manager Millionaire John II and his Boardwalk Mafia from ringside.

Other matches will be announced soon.
