In a recent episode of the Talk’n Shop podcast, Karl Anderson addressed his recent injury, as well as noting that he had undergone shoulder surgery that would put him out of action for around 6-9 months.
Anderson stated that around two months ago, he felt something wrong in a match, but at the time, he did not think anything of it, and then he felt something wrong once again in another match a week later, noting that he had a few additional matches, however the pain progressively got worse, leading to him not being able to sleep at night due to his shoulder aching and throbbing.
Anderson noted that after he told WWE’s doctors, they quickly handled the situation and that he had an MRI done which revealed that he had suffered a torn rotator cuff and a partially torn labrum.
