Katsuyori Shibata made a brief appearance during today’s NJPW World Tag League 2021 Finals & NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 28 Final to announce that he will make his in-ring return as part of the first night of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16 on January 4th.

As of writing, no opponent has been announced for Shibata.
