New Japan Pro Wrestling star Kazuchika Okada took part in the post-AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door media scrum and discussed his appearance at the event, the crowd in Chicago and more.

Okada, who largely spoke through translator Chris Charlton, said that the crowd in Chicago were great and that he hopes that as the restrictions on crowds ease in Japan that the same sort of atmosphere will return there.

Okada said that there is no language barrier in professional wrestling, and that as long as he can say ‘make it rain’, that the communication between the wrestlers and the audience is the language of professional wrestling. Okada noted that other than Tony Khan, it is up to the audience to clamor for who they want to see him face in All Elite Wrestling.
