Kurt Angle has been pulled from his appearance at WrestleCon during WrestleMania 33 week in Orlando, Florida due to commitments to the WWE that will also see Angle being inducted into the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame Class.
Speaking through his official Facebook page, Martin Damato of TMart Promotions who were bringing in Angle for WrestleCon noted that while Angle has been pulled, they are working very hard to find a replacement stating, “Unfortunately have some bad news. Kurt Angle had to cancel his appearances @WrestleCon due to obligations that we now all know. We are working very hard to find a replacement for Kurt Angle but not that many names are like Kurt Angle. We at TMart Promotions wish Kurt the best on his journey back with the WWE and trust me as I spoke with Kurt a lot over the last year, this is something he really wanted.”
Angle is scheduled to do WrestleMania Axxess signings over WrestleMania week now, while anyone who bought a ticket for a photo op and autograph with Angle through TMart Promotions are expected to be refunded next week.
