In an interview with AZCentral.com, WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston discussed misconception about professional wrestlers, how much input he has on his character and more.

On the input on his character: “There’s always give and take. The most successful characters and personas are extensions of the person who plays them. It’s pretty much me, for the most part. As a powerlifter, I kind of use those abilities in what I do now. It’s essentially me, but I’m still not sure how we came up with Big E Langston.”

On the misconception about professional wrestlers: “People know we have WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown and they know the TV schedule, but they don’t know how extensive our live events are. We’re constantly busy doing charity events, personal appearances and stuff like interviews on our day off. Even in the off-season, the schedule is exhausting. People may be surprised by how busy we are, but it’s very rewarding.”
