TNA’s lawsuit against the WWE came to an end yesterday, with TNA Wrestling voluntarily withdrawing the lawsuit. A report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com notes that a document was filed on Tuesday, with TNA Wrestling informing the court that both sides had agreed to cover their own legal costs.

For those unfamiliar with the case, the lawsuit all came about when WWE informed TNA Wrestling that former employee Brian Wittenstein had handed over a flash drive to company officials which contained confidential TNA documents, including the contractual information of TNA Wrestling superstars. What made things interesting at the time was that Ric Flair had requested a release from TNA Wrestling, which prompted TNA to take the WWE to court and have a temporary injunction placed against them, requiring them to return any confidential TNA Wrestling documents, despite the fact that the WWE had already returned all documents before the lawsuit was filed and presented evidence to the court showing that they had policed their own company e-mail and file servers, which showed no wrongdoing.

There was nothing that prevented WWE from hiring or talking with former TNA talent or TNA talent whose deals were about to expire, however due to different online reports speculating one thing or another, former talent who took part in media interviews were cautious about mentioning anything about WWE as it could have prevented them from potentially signing a deal.
