In an e-mail issued to VIP ticketholders for the NWA Legends Fanfest, promoter Greg Price announced that the event would not take place in August of this year and would be postponed until August 2013.

Price noted that due to a medical issue he has been dealing with for the past 4-5 months, he was instructed that he needed to undergo a procedure that could not be delayed and would prevent him from properly promoting and running the event which has been running regularly since January 2004.
