The main event for the National Wrestling Alliance’s 73rd Anniversary pay-per-view was set in stone during last night’s TMart Promotions: The Gathering II event at the Hilton University Place in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Following the main event of the show, which saw NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis retain his title against Trevor Murdoch, Murdoch got on the mic and said that he has worked for the last few years very hard to give the fans the best possible show that he can when he competes and that as a Harley Race guy, the National Wrestling Alliance means the world to him and that if you don’t want to be the World Heavyweight Champion, then you need to get out of the business.

Murdoch said that he wants to represent Harley Race and that Nick beat him, but he still wants to be the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and that since Aldis likes deals, he has one for him at the NWA 73rd Anniversary pay-per-view in St. Louis, one where he will put his career on the line for a shot at the title.

The current line-up for the NWA 73rd Anniversary Pay-Per-View is below:

Title vs. Career Match For The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship
Nick Aldis (c) vs. Trevor Murdoch.

NWA World Women’s Championship Match
Kamille (c) vs. NWA Women’s Invitational Tournament Winner.

Singles Match
